My husband and I really enjoyed staying in Cabin #2. The cabin was really clean, the views were beautiful, and the hosts- Cindy and Gary- were very accommodating and friendly. We wish we had more time here. We will recommend this to our travelling friends and families and hope to come back again. If you come to the area, check out the Loon Center, have lunch and hike at the Castle in the Clouds (free), and cook a steak on the wood fired grill next to the cabin. Have fun! Jenny/Oct 2014
A great cabin at the lake! We loved listening to the loons and relaxing by the water! The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing vacation and it was very clean and comfortable. It's close to nature and close to town. You can walk to restaurants. Cindy, our host, was great! Lisa/Sept 2014
Great place right on the water. Cottage #1 was the closest to the lake with a view out the porch slider. Relaxing place to escape. The free use of the canoes was an added bonus. We were happy. Would definitely come back. Ni/August 2014

The cottage is charming, with amazing lake views out every window. It's so close to the water that you can hear the water lapping against the shore, which makes for a lovely soundtrack. It was well-stocked with linens, kitchen items, and even salt/pepper/sugar, dish soap, etc. We visited for a first family vacation with our 7 month old daughter, and she had a great time at the small beach and playground in Center Harbor. Our visit to the Lodge was memorable. We had it to ourselves, except for Cindy, who was a lovely hostess and helped us to feel welcome. The Lodge is a hundred year old gem. It is walking distance to the Center Harbor community and right on the lake. The region is a vacation destination with sports and recreation dependent on the season. Cindy was generous in sharing her lifelong experience at the Lodge and helping us to know the area. This would be ideal for a family gathering. Michael/Oct 2014
Relaxing, peaceful shoreline location harking back to family holidays of the past. The house is charming as are the hosts. We hired kayaks and paddled out from the private jetty onto the lake and even went for a quick swim! Saw a mink scurry past as we had a cup of tea on the landing. Cindy kept the fire stoked so the house was very cosy. It was a 15-20 minute walk into Center Harbour for breakfast and dinner. The Canoe Tavern is a great little restaurant. Cindy made sure we had everything we needed. We missed peak colour due to the warm weather but the colours were still very impressive. Phillip/Oct 2014

Location, location, location. Right on the lake and loaded with vintage charm. Boat rentals available at the property and although our fall tour was too cool to swim...you can jump from their back yard right into the crystal clear lake. Made us contemplate a summer visit, room was very clean. Bed was super comfortable too. Cindy and Gary are charming hosts and create a warm atmosphere for their guests. Thanks for everything guys! Cindy and Gary made us feel very welcome! They were super friendly. We arrived late Friday after having dinner at Canoe (one of their many recommendations). Our stay was very pleasant, peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the lodge (also their home) and it was comfortable. We enjoyed the hammock swings outside of our bedroom as well as reading in the chairs down by their dock. We canoed to breakfast Saturday morning. Sunday we enjoyed a round or two of shuffleboard. There were many other things to do (ping pong table, badminton, kayaking, canoeing, swimming), but we didn't have much time to partake in everything because we were in town for a wedding. We would definitely go back and stay with them! Susie
Cindy was so gracious and made us feel like family. We truly experienced the essence of New Hampshire and that was thanks to Cindy's recommendations on places to explore. The lakefront home has everything from ping pong to canoeing in a truly gorgeous setting. We felt so comfortable in our surroundings. Cindy and Gary were the perfect hosts! They were easy to communicate with and sent me a nice note prior to our visit. We were only there for the weekend, but the cabin was perfect for us (we had the 2-bedroom and we were 2 couples). All the amenities you would expect plus a beautiful location right by the lake. Plus, there was a diner, restaurant, bar, and store all within a couple of miles. Everything you need! Check in and out could not have been easier as Cindy and Gary were right there onsite. I would absolutely go back there and stay with them again! Mike

We had a great stay at Cindy and Gary's private room, they were great hosts and the location was ideal; close enough to amenities but still secluded enough to enjoy the natural beauty and all the region has to offer. I was in town for Ironman 70.3 Timberman and was able to take advantage of the lake, run and ride around the area. We were even able to canoe around the bay and take some awesome pictures prior to the race. Definitely looking forward to returning next summer! Mariana
