What are housekeeping Cottages?

Housekeeping cottages are a New England tradition.  They provide a vacation spot for individuals or families at reasonable rates and offer the convenience of a hotel with the charm and outdoor location of a cottage.  Guests will arrive to a clean cottage; however we do not offer housekeeping services during your visit.  Guests will maintain their own cottages in a reasonable fashion during their visit.  When our guests depart, we request the cottage to be broom clean, dishes washed and put away, trash disposed of in the dumpster, furniture and bedding should be in a neat and tidy order.

Air Conditioning:  We don't use or provide air conditioners.  When the temperatures get up in the 90's, we stay cool because of the tall trees and moisture and shade they provide.  We're typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler at our resort than the average.
